GEOL 4201 - Field Methods in Sedimentary Geology

2 Semester Credit Hours

Prerequisite: C or better in GEOL 3402 and GEOL 3325. Description of sediments and sedimentary rocks in the field, measurement of stratigraphic sections, mapping of surficial deposits and stratified rocks, interpretation of depositional environments. Field work requires strenuous physical activity. (CL)
