JOUR 3310 - Podcasting for Journalists

3 Semester Credit Hours

Prerequisites: C or higher in JOUR 3380; pass the Basics of Writing Exam with a grade of 70 or higher; minimum 2.5 GPA. Students will learn the basics of narrative podcasting: evaluating pitches; identifying guests; audio interviewing techniques; creating and structuring episodes; script writing; and post-production mixing, scoring, and critical review.
