Prerequisite: One 3000-level SPAN course (preferably SPAN 3308 or SPAN 3318) Provides an in-depth analysis of sub-fields of linguistics covering topics such as Spanish in Texas, language contact, language and social media, corpus linguistics, and linguistic landscapes.
