JOUR 3360 - Visual Journalism

3 Semester Credit Hours

Prerequisites: C or higher in JOUR 3380; pass the Basics of Writing Exam with 70 or higher; minimum 2.5 GPA. Students will gain an understanding of journalistic visual storytelling. Topics include principles of photojournalism and news design, best practices for visual social media, and use of explanatory infographics, such as interactive maps and timelines.
