DAN 2313 - Dance Histories: 1850-Present

Introduces students to a wide range of dance and dancers from the 20th and 21st centuries, from the Industrial Revolution to the Digital Revolution. Though the emphasis is on Western concert dance, the course content considers the fusion of global techniques and critical moments in history from multiple sites throughout the world.
