About the Nutritional Sciences Master’s Program


The Master of Science program in Nutritional Sciences (NS) prepares students to continue on with a Ph.D. to be qualified for faculty and post-doctorate positions as well as careers in various industry settings. Research projects can be in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, basic science, or dietetics. This degree requires a minimum of 33 semester hours (thesis option) or 36 hours (non-thesis option) beyond a bachelor of science degree.
