Designed to prepare students for careers as game wardens or similar positions, this degree requires 60 hours of coursework at Texas Tech University in addition to the initial 60 hours transferred from an approved collaborating institution.

Communication Literacy. Communication literacy in Conservation Law Enforcement is evidenced by competence in written, oral, and quantitative analysis and synthesis skills. To accommodate our majors while emphasizing the communication skills that they will need to graduate, we are focusing on developing students’ abilities to integrate and articulate ideas and information specific to three areas: Written Communication, Oral Communication, and Quantitative Analysis and Synthesis. Upon graduating, students will be able to comprehensively articulate and synthesize, using various communication strategies, key components of each of these areas. Students can anticipate working with a variety of law enforcement officers, government agencies, and the public.
