Sociology, B.A. / Sociology, M.A.

This competitive accelerated program is designed for upper-division sociology majors to begin graduate classes during their senior undergraduate year so that they can finish with a master’s degree in sociology with one additional year of graduate study instead of the normal two years. This program is particularly well-suited for students who wish to enter governmental, non-profit, or industry work. The program follows the same requirements as the Sociology, M.A., though nine hours of graduate credit may be counted as undergraduate credit, at the discretion of the graduate director.
