About the Geology Undergraduate Minor Program

The geology minor requires:

• GEOL 1303 - Our Planet Earth: Principles of Geology 3 Semester Credit Hours AND

• (Petroleum engineering students may substitute PETR 2324  for GEOL 1303 )

• GEOL 1101 - Our Planet Earth: Principles of Geology Laboratory 1 Semester Credit Hours

•  

• GEOL 2401 - History of the Earth through Deep Time 4 Semester Credit Hours
• Additional upper-division GEOL, GPH, GCH courses to reach 18 hours in the minor.
