About the Wind Energy Graduate Certificate

The Renewable Energy Program offers a graduate certificate in wind energy to address a national need for workforce development in wind energy and other clean energy sources, which are expected to double by 2050 and be part of a 40% US generation mix. The certificate program offers a wider range of topics within the wind energy curriculum, along with electives from other departments. About the Wind Energy (Technical) Graduate Certificate

This 15-hour graduate certificate offers professionals post-baccalaureate level training options in six topic areas relevant to the industry, including detailed case studies. They are specifically designed for technical professionals who wish to assume technical responsibilities in wind energy. Note: Electives may be substituted with any relevant courses offered in WE, ECE, IE, ECO, and ATMO departments.
