The minor in applied political economy is intended for students interested in working on issues at the intersection of applied economics and political science. The minor includes nine hours of core courses (AAEC 2305, BECO 4345, and POLS 3316); three hours of policy analysis selected from AAEC 4305, POLS 3346, and BECO 4366; and six elective hours selected from BECO 3310, BECO 4376, AAEC 3306, and POLS 3366. AAEC 4305, POLS 3346, and BECO 4366 that are not taken to fulfill the policy requirement may be taken as electives.
