The minor in Chinese consists of a minimum of 22 hours, including CHIN 1501, CHIN 1502, CHIN 2301, and CHIN 2302. Students must complete at least 6 hours at the upper level, of which 3 hours must be either CHIN 3311 or CHIN 3305.

College Level Examination (CLEP) credits are accepted by the department.
