The Certificate in Corporate Risk Management and Insurance is designed to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for navigating the complex world of risk management and insurance. This certificate program is ideal for individuals aiming to pursue a career in corporate finance departments, insurance companies, risk management consultancies, and governmental agencies. The curriculum is structured to cover a broad range of topics, including but not limited to, the fundamentals of risk management, principles of insurance, regulatory environment, corporate risk management strategies, and the use of financial instruments to manage risk. Through a blend of lectures, case studies, and projects, students will develop a deep understanding of how to assess and manage risks, design and implement effective insurance strategies, and navigate the regulatory landscape. - Completion of FIN 3320 with a B or better.
- All prerequisites must be met prior to taking a course.
