Gerontology Graduate Certificate - Online

About the Gerontology Graduate Certificate Program

The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology is a 12-hour inter-institutional program offered through the Innovative Digital Education Alliance (IDEA, formerly GPIDEA), a consortium of multiple high-quality universities. The program is designed to prepare professionals who are either working directly with older people or are involved in education or research related to aging adults. All the courses are web-based. To complete the certificate, students are required to complete the 6 credits from Block 1 (Foundations) plus any 6 credits from Blocks 2 (The Aging Individual), 3 (Aging in Context), or 4 (Translational Practice in Gerontology) of electives offered by universities participating in IDEA. Visit www.gpidea.org for more information. Courses available at TTU are included below.
