About the Artificial Intelligence Undergraduate Minor

A minor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) consists of 20 hours of coursework that includes ENGR 1330 , CS 1382 , CS 1412 , CS 2413 , CS 3368 , and CS 4391 . Minor courses require pre-approval of the undergraduate advisor. A minimum of 6 hours of CS coursework must be taken at the 3000 level or above. A minimum of 9 hours must be taken in the Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech for the minor. In addition to the course prerequisites, students outside of WCOE applying for a minor must have a TTU GPA of 2.75 or higher from a math-oriented major or a 3.5 or higher from a non-math major.
