About the Student Development and Academic Advisement Graduate Certificate

This certificate will help fill a need of educating professionals on supporting and advising graduate students in topics relevant to the complex nature of student affairs. The 12-hour graduate certificate in Student Development and Academic Advisement is offered by the Higher Education program, Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, & Counseling in the College of Education at Texas Tech University. The certificate is for working professionals and graduate students who wish to focus on holistic development of students in higher education and learning contexts with emphasis on student success interventions such as academic advisement.
