The coursework for the Orientation and Mobility Certification Preparation Program can be pursued independently or as an area of emphasis with the Masters of Education in Special Education. The courses offered meet the required curriculum for The Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education (ACVREP) Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification.

Certificate programs can be pursued independently or concurrently with a master’s program. Most courses are offered online; however, some courses are only offered face-to-face in Lubbock.
