About the Economics Master’s Program (Thesis Option)
The thesis plan requires successful completion of 12 courses (36 credit hours), writing an M.A. thesis, and a successful final defense of the M.A. thesis.
The coursework includes ECO 5321 , ECO 5311 , 6 hours of ECO 6000 (thesis hours), 15 hours of economics electives, and 9 hours of approved general electives.
