About the Artificial Intelligence Undergraduate Minor
A minor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) consists of 20 hours of coursework that includes ENGR 1330 , CS 1382 , CS 1412 , CS 2413 , CS 3368 , and CS 4391 . Minor courses require pre-approval of the undergraduate advisor. A minimum of 6 hours of CS coursework must be taken at the 3000 level or above. A minimum of 9 hours must be taken in the Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech for the minor. In addition to the course prerequisites, students outside of the Whitacre College of Engineering applying for a minor must have a Texas Tech GPA of 2.75 or higher from a math-oriented major or a 3.5 or higher from a non-math major. |
