About the Instructional Technology Master’s Program

This fully online, 36-credit-hour degree prepares graduates to become specialists in instructional design and technology. Students in the program come from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including public K-12 education, higher education, the private sector, and military training. The curriculum includes coursework in the foundations of instructional design and technology, online education, multimedia development, instructional systems evaluation, and the integration of emerging technologies. Students also gain hands-on experience in real-world application and evaluation of instructional technology through a capstone practicum.

Graduates often pursue positions as technology specialists in public education, instructional consultants or materials developers in the private sector, and instructors or technology specialists in community college settings. For more information, visit the program website.
