About the Health and Society Undergraduate Minor

The general goal of the Health and Society undergraduate minor is to empower students to make sense of the demographic, social, economic, and political issues that influence human health, health behavior, and health-related policy. While the minor focuses on health, students will be exposed to interdisciplinary perspectives, and they are expected to acquire a broad range of skills. A minor in Health and Society consists of 18 hours, with at least 12 hours selected from offerings in Sociology.
