About the Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning Graduate Certificate


The 15-hour graduate certificate in the Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning in Professional Practice (FTLPP) is offered by the College of Education graduate programs at Texas Tech University. The certificate is for working professionals and graduate students who wish to learn more about theories of teaching and learning and how research-based educational principles can enhance teaching, learning, and practice in formal and informal educational settings, including higher education and other professional fields. Additionally, this certificate program may be of interest to current Texas Tech University graduate students from different disciplines who aspire to teach in higher education or other professional settings, including corporate training or community organizations, but may not have the opportunity to participate in specific professional development aimed at enhancing teaching skills.  

 Depending on the courses selected, the 15-hour graduate certificate can be completed face-to-face, hybrid, or 100% Online. Please contact the program advisor to discuss course selection.
