Biology, Undergraduate Minor – Online

About the Biology Undergraduate Minor

Students from other departments may minor in biology and must complete 18 hours in biological sciences (includes courses with BIOL, MBIO, and ZOOL prefixes). Either BIOL 1401  and BIOL 1402  OR BIOL 1403  and BIOL 1404  must account for 8 of these hours; another 6 hours must come from 3000- and 4000-level courses. No more than 6 hours of undergraduate research may apply to the minor. BIOL 2202  does not count toward the minor. Students desiring to minor in biological sciences should consult the Biology advisors no later than the beginning of their junior year.
