About the Microbiology Accelerated Program

This program is designed for high-achieving students who can maintain at least a 3.0 GPA to simultaneously earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology. This accelerated path is ideal for those looking to bridge the gap year between undergraduate and professional school or for students who wish to complete their graduate studies more quickly. Students apply 9 hours of graduate coursework to their undergraduate degree, so they can complete both degrees sooner than doing them sequentially. Nine graduate hours are chosen with an advisor.
