About the Biological Systems Engineering BS
The program will advance the use of computational tools and simulation techniques through the core engineering curriculum, as well as the use of computer-based control in bioinstrumentation laboratory experimentation and bioprocess control. Program Educational Objectives. The undergraduate program educational objectives embody the expected accomplishments of graduates during their first few years following graduation. The program educational objectives for graduates of the Biological Systems Engineering BS program are as follows: - Become professionals and advance to leadership roles in their chosen career paths
- Engage in professional development through continuing education or graduate studies
- Contribute to the socioeconomic development of the nation and the world through ethical practice in professions related to biological systems engineering
Communication Literacy Requirement: Communication literacy courses include CHE 2306 , BIOE 3202 , BSE 4201 , and BSE 4202 . About the Agricultural Engineering Concentration
The concentration in Agricultural Engineering requires a minimum of 12 credit hours of courses in Natural Resource Management and Plant and Soil Science. Required courses are: PSS 4325 , PSS 4340 , NRM 3300 , NRM 3309 or NRM 4315 .
