About the Languages and Professions Undergraduate Minor
This minor prepares students for the workforce by increasing their language skills and cultural knowledge. Students who complete this minor will be able to use their language skills in a professional environment, navigate multinational cultural situations, and work confidently in international companies and organizations here in the U.S. and abroad. The minor requires 20 hours. Required courses: - 1502 or 1507 or 1508 or 1607 of selected language
- 2301 or 2303 or 2607 of selected language
- 2302 or 2304 or 2607 of selected language
Three courses at the 3000 or 4000-level offered in CMLL or approved by the minor advisor from two of the four following categories: Language for Specific Purposes (LSP)
Community-Engaged Learning
Internship with a global/professional focus for a minimum of three credits
