About the Biological Systems Engineering BS

The program will advance the use of computational tools and simulation techniques through the core engineering curriculum, as well as the use of computer-based control in bioinstrumentation laboratory experimentation and bioprocess control.

Communication Literacy Requirement: Communication literacy courses include CHE 2306 , BIOE 3202 , BSE 4201 , and BSE 4202 .

About the Food and Bioprocess Engineering Concentration

The concentration in Food and Bioprocess Engineering requires a minimum of 12 credit hours in food engineering and processing. Required courses are FDSC 3305 , FDSC 3301 , FDSC 3306 , FDSC 4304 . This concentration is one of the required options for the BS Biological Systems Engineering, but is open to all engineering majors.
