About the Biological Systems Engineering BS
The program will advance the use of computational tools and simulation techniques through the core engineering curriculum, as well as the use of computer-based control in bioinstrumentation laboratory experimentation and bioprocess control. Program Educational Objectives. The undergraduate program educational objectives embody the expected accomplishments of graduates during their first few years following graduation. The program educational objectives for graduates of the Biological Systems Engineering BS program are as follows: - Become professionals and advance to leadership roles in their chosen career paths

Communication Literacy Requirement: Communication literacy courses include CHE 2306 , BIOE 3202 , BSE 4201 , and BSE 4202 . About the Nutritional Sciences Engineering Concentration
The concentration in Nutritional Sciences Engineering requires a minimum of 12 credit hours in Nutritional Science. Required courses include: NS 3340 , NS 4351 , NS 4352 and NS 4353 . The concentration is one of the 5 required concentrations for the Biological Systems Engineering BS degree plan, however it will be open to all engineering majors.
