About the Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed.: Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education Concentration

This program offers courses on a variety of pedagogical models to further existing teachers’ practice and general knowledge. Students of this program, many of whom are practicing teachers, will have the opportunity to apply their learning immediately within classroom environments and share their knowledge within their educational communities. The program completes with a culminating project wherein students will review and consolidate the material learned, allowing them to articulate best practices and continue in their profession as well-rounded, model teachers, curriculum developers, and other educational specialists.
