About the Applied Personal Finance, B.S./Personal Financial Planning, M.S.

The Accelerated Program in Bachelor of Science in Applied Personal Finance to Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning offers qualified TTU students a cost-effective and timely pathway to earn both degrees. Students can get an early start on graduate work by taking three graduate courses (9 SCH) in the final semester of their senior year, in place of undergraduate guided electives, to complete the B.S. degree, which provides the education requirement to sit for the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) exam. The graduate courses will count as electives for the graduate degree. Students continue in the M.S. program to complete the remaining graduate courses that will provide the education requirement to sit for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) exam. Admission to the accelerated pathway and approval of the shared courses are required; all other university and Graduate School policies apply.
