About the Dramatic Writing Undergraduate Minor Program
The Department of English, Department of Theatre and Dance, and College of Media and Communication offer an interdisciplinary minor in dramatic writing. The program is designed to prepare students to write scripts for cinema, television, and stage productions. The minor consists of 18 hours—12 in writing and 6 in analysis. Courses in which the student earns less than a C may not be counted toward the minor. This 18-hour requirement may not include courses taken to fulfill requirements in the student’s major field.
