Natural Resources Management: Ranch Management Concentration, B.S.


About the Natural Resources Management Bachelor’s Program


Students pursuing a B.S. in Natural Resources Management must make a C or better in departmental courses to be eligible for graduation. The degree has five concentrations: (1) ranch management , (2) wildlife biology , (3) fisheries biology , (4) range conservation , and (5) conservation science . The wildlife biology concentration can meet the minimum requirements recommended by the Wildlife Society for wildlife biologist certification, and the fisheries biology concentration can meet the minimum certification requirements recommended by the American Fisheries Society for a fisheries professional. The range conservation concentration meets the accreditation standards of the Society for Range Management.

Communication Literacy Requirement. Communication Literacy courses for the Natural Resources Management major include NRM 3325 , NRM 3302 , NRM 3323 , NRM 4306 , NRM 4335 , NRM 4401 , NRM 3304 , NRM 3308 , and NRM 4408 .
