LAW 6099 - Guardianship Law Designed to teach the student how to begin, administer, and close a guardianship for an incapacitated person/minor. The student also will learn alternatives to guardianships and planning techniques to avoid guardianships as well as learn the differences in a guardianship proceeding and a mental health commitment. Will provide a practical look at how to represent a client who may be applying to be a guardian or a client who is the subject of a guardianship proceeding.
