PETR 4222 - Petroleum Design I

2 Semester Credit Hours

Prerequisites: PETR majors only; 3.0 TTU GPA; C or better in PETR 3304, PETR 3306, PETR 2350, GEOL 4324, GEOL 4334, CE 3303 or ME 3403, ME 3370 and CE 3302 or ME 2302, PETR 4324; and 3 hours of oral communication. Corequisites: 6 PETR elective hours in PETR 4306, PETR 4307 and PETR 4107, PETR 4309, and PETR 4319. Design projects characteristic of petroleum engineering, including consideration of cost, design optimization, codes and standards, and ethics. (CL)
