3 Semester Credit Hours Prerequisites: C or higher in JOUR 2300, JOUR 2310; pass the Basics of Writing exam with a grade of 70 or higher. Discussion and practice in interviewing; reporting; and writing various types of stories, including meetings, conventions, accidents, and other general news stories.
