Prerequisites: C or higher in JOUR 2310; pass the Basics of Writing exam with a grade of 70 or higher. A study of the scope, influence, and responsibilities of the magazine as a cultural and social force. Survey of editorial problems; intensive writing practice and emphasis on marketing magazine articles.
