3 Semester Credit Hours A comprehensive study of the rules of lyric diction using the International Phonetic Alphabet to analyze and transcribe vocal repertoire. Topics will rotate accordingly: even-numbered years—Italian, German, and French; odd-numbered years—Czech, Russian, and Spanish.
