GEOL 3321 - Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology

3 Semester Credit Hours

Prerequisites: C or better in GEOL 2401 (may be taken concurrently), GEOL 3401; CHEM 1308 and CHEM 1108 (may be taken concurrently). Systematic mineralogical, geochemical and petrographical description of igneous and metamorphic rocks and application of internationally recognize nomenclature schemes. Field trip requires strenuous activity.
