Prerequisites: PETR 3306 and departmental approval. Solution to the diffusivity equation in hydrocarbon reservoirs. Well testing methods. Analysis and interpretation of buildup, drawdown and interference tests. Application to naturally and hydraulically fractured reservoirs and to unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Type curve and derivative approach.
