ENGR 1330 - Computational Thinking with Data Science

3 Semester Credit Hours
Prerequisites: A score of at least 4000 on the STA2, 530 on the SATM and composite score of 1010 or a score of at least 19 on the ACTM and composite score of 23, or TSI Math of 350 or TSI2.0 Math of 950 or TSI2.0 Math Diagnostics 6, or a C or better in either MATH 0302, REF 0302 , TSI 0502 , TSI 0330 , or TSI 0340 . Introduces Python programming, its relevant modules and libraries, and computational thinking for solving problems in Data Science. Students will learn data science approaches to importing, manipulating, and analyzing data as well as modeling and visualizing real-world data sets in various science and engineering disciplines.
