Graduate Programs

The Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree program prepares health professionals to practice skillful and evidence-based preventive public health; conduct and communicate research that informs the diverse fields within public health; and provide interdisciplinary expertise in the service of academic, professional, and community-based public health organizations. You can receive the M.P.H. with a concentration in either Generalist or Health Promotion and Communication. Additionally, we offer an accelerated (15 month) track to complete the program. The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is for students who wish to have an extra credential but may not be ready to pursue a master’s degree. Both the master and certificate programs are available in person on our Abilene or Lubbock campus, or online.
