The CFAS department offers a minor in community, family and addiction sciences (CFAS) that provides a basic understanding of family systems, addiction, recovery, and human services. It is designed for students who are interested in counseling, human services, or nonprofit administration. Courses for the minor are finalized and approved in conjunction with the student’s major and minor advisors. All required and prerequisite courses much be completed with a grade of C or better. The minor requires 12 hours of foundational courses and 6 hours of prescribed electives.
