About the Women’s and Gender Studies Undergraduate Minor
The Women’s and Gender Studies Program is an interdisciplinary, all-campus program administered by the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies.
The university offers a minor in women’s and gender studies. Women’s and gender studies minors will learn to critically examine gender, ethnicity/race, sexuality, class, and other social identities. A minor consists of 18 hours of courses as approved by the director. The minor includes two required courses: WGS 2300 and one of the following courses: WGS 4310 or WGS 4399 . Many courses with and without a WGS prefix may be used to complete the minor, with the approval of the director.
