About the Atmospheric Science Undergraduate Minor Program

The atmospheric science minor requires the following courses and approved elective courses to total 18 hours. Six hours must be junior-senior level. A list of approved elective courses is available from the department.

• ATMO 1100 - Atmospheric Science Laboratory 1 Semester Credit Hours
• ATMO 3310 - Weather, Climate, and Human Activities 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ATMO 3316 - Severe and Hazardous Weather 3 Semester Credit Hours
• ATMO 3301 - General Meteorology 3 Semester Credit Hours
