About the Landscape Studies Undergraduate Minor Program

The Landscape Studies minor provides students outside landscape architecture a foundation in theories and practices that guide the design, construction, and interpretation of landscape and built environments.

Required Courses (9 hours):

LARC 1302 - Introduction to Landscape Architecture 3 Semester Credit Hours
LARC 2302 - History of Landscape Architecture 3 Semester Credit Hours
LARC 4351 - Environmental Planning for Sustainable Development 3 Semester Credit Hours

Directed Electives:

A minor in Landscape Studies also consists of nine (9) hours of directed electives, three (3) of which must be upper level.
