About the Finance Master’s Program

The 36-hour M.S. in Finance equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the many fields of finance, including corporate finance, security analysis and valuation, investment management, commercial and investment banking, real estate analysis and investments.

Notes on Elective Options:

A. In addition to the nine required courses, students must choose three courses from the following electives: FIN 5326 , FIN 5327 , FIN 5330 , FIN 5331 , FIN 5333 , FIN 5345 , or FIN 5382 .

B. To complete the requirements of the Commercial Banking Concentration, students must complete the following courses: MKT 5367 , FIN 5331 , FIN 5333 , and one of the following: either FIN 5382 , FIN 5330 , or FIN 5345 .

C. To complete the requirements of the Investment Management Concentration, students must complete the following courses: MKT 5367 , FIN 5326 , and two of the following: FIN 5330 , FIN 5327 or FIN 5382 .
