All students must satisfy the university foreign language requirement with two years of foreign language credit from high school (same language) or two semesters of college credit (same language).

Electives must be selected from approved lists to ensure that ABET, core curriculum, departmental, and state legislative requirements are satisfied.

Core Curriculum: HIST 2300 , HIST 2301  (or approved HIST), POLS 1301 , POLS 2306 , ENGR 2392  (satisfies the Language, Philosophy, & Culture credit), and choose from Core Curriculum  course list found in catalog (or DegreeWorks) to fulfill Oral Communication, Social & Behavioral Sciences (IE 2324 ), Creative Arts, & Multicultural requirement. Two opportunities exist for courses to fulfill both Multicultural and one other core requirement.

Group A: Focus Area (CHOOSE TWO): ECE 3312 , ECE 3323 , ECE 3342 , ECE 3353  – prerequisites vary.

Group B: Project Lab in Focus Area (CHOOSE TWO): ECE 3332 , ECE 3333 , ECE 3334 , ECE 3335 , ECE 3336 , ECE 3337 , ECE 3338  – prerequisites vary.

ECE/OEE Tech Elective: Select from departmentally approved list.
