About the Natural Resources Management Bachelor’s Program


Students pursuing a B.S. in Natural Resources Management must make a C or better in departmental courses to be eligible for graduation. The degree has five concentrations: (1) conservation science , (2) fisheries biology , (3) ranch management , (4) range conservation , and (5) wildlife biology .

Communication Literacy Requirement. Communication Literacy courses for the Natural Resources Management major include NRM 3302 , NRM 3304 NRM 3308 , NRM 3323 , NRM 3325 , NRM 4306 , NRM 4335 , NRM 4401 , or NRM 4408 .

About the Conservation Science Concentration


The Conservation Science concentration is designed to provide a broader array of course options, where the focus is understanding the science and policy elements of the interdependent relationships between humans and the environment. Graduates from this concentration frequently work in environmental consulting, federal and state agencies, and often focus their work on threatened and endangered species and ecosystems, as well as invasive species, and ecosystem restoration.
