Business Administration Professional Master’s Program
This M.B.A. program is offered for students who wish to remain employed full-time while simultaneously attaining their degree. Classes are offered one weekend per month; students may expect to complete this 42-hour program in 2 years. The Rawls College of Business provides Microsoft Office Excel Specialist certification.
AI and Data Science in Business Concentration
Available for Professional M.B.A. only. The AI and Data Science in Business concentration introduces courses relevant for students who desire to manage and analyze business data using information technology tools and quantitative methods, with the objective of optimizing business processes.
Energy Business Concentration
The Energy Business concentration is available for the Rawls Professional M.B.A. program only. BECO 5310 is a prerequisite to taking this concentration.
The 12-hour Energy Business concentration introduces courses relevant for students working in the energy industry. Professional M.B.A. students currently working in or who desire to work in the energy field will benefit from this concentration.
Healthcare Organization Management Concentration
The 6-hour Healthcare Organization Management concentration introduces courses relevant for managers working in the healthcare industry. Students desiring to work in the healthcare field after earning their M.B.A. will benefit from this concentration.
Human Resource Management Concentration
The Human Resource Management (HRM) concentration in the M.B.A. program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that managers need to complete their jobs, such as recruiting, training and development, compensation, and global management of human resources.
Required Course:
Choose any two from the following five courses (MGT 5371 and MGT 5377 are prerequisites for all.)
- MGT 5385 - Human Resource Information Systems and Analytics 3 Semester Credit Hours
- MGT 5387 - Talent Acquisition and Management 3 Semester Credit Hours (MGT 5385 is an additional prerequisite.)
- MGT 5388 - Compensation and Benefits 3 Semester Credit Hours (MGT 5385 is an additional prerequisite.)
- MGT 5386 - Employment Law and Labor Relations 3 Semester Credit Hours
- MGT 5384 - International Human Resource Management 3 Semester Credit Hours
Supply Chain and Optimization Concentration
The Supply Chain and Optimization concentration focuses on building the leadership skills needed to run broad-spectrum supply chains by developing a solid analytical and problem-solving foundation. Students in this program establish and sharpen these in-demand skills to become robust supply chain leaders who can navigate future business challenges.
