About the Software Engineering Master’s Program
* This degree is being phased out and is no longer accepting new students. The Master of Science in Software Engineering (M.S.S.E.) is a degree program with an emphasis on advanced software engineering concepts including software design and quality assurance methodologies and practices in software and system production. This degree program requires filing a degree plan within the student’s first semester of study and passing the Final Comprehensive Examination as required by the university. The degree plan for students pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering (M.S.S.E.) has two options: a thesis option or a project option. The plan for both options must include:
